Some of the AWESOME events of NGCR

Launch Party!

To celebrate the launch of this new club, back in March 2020, we hired a yacht and threw a party! We wanted to kick off the club strong and set the tone for what we wanted the club to be. A club where people can come to make a difference in their communities while still having an AWESOME time!

Join The Club!

1st Changeover Event!

In July 2022 we celebrated the 1st Annual Changeover Event. This event signifies the progression of the club and the transfer of the Board to the new Board for the coming year.

This event is a great way to reflect on all the club’s accomplishments of the year and celebrate with friends of the club. And what a year it was!

And of course we chose to step it up and host the event at a vodka distillery!

PURPLE COLOUR RUN FOR DFV!

Raising awareness of domestic and family violence in our communities. (how good are these photos!!)
At the end of last year, our club organised a purple colour run and family fun day at The Meeting Place: Oxenford/Coomera Community Youth Centre. It was an AWESOME event and we are very humbled by the support and engagement from all the community groups that supported it.
This event was part of a bigger campaign (16 Days of Activism) to raise awareness for this cause. This movement started with Davey N Robii Harmon in Rotary District 9640 and has expanded across the nation and is even now international! In the photos you can see all the purple shirts? You can contact us if you would like to buy one for $35 and we strongly encourage everyone to wear their shirts at their place of work on Fridays to launch the movement in your local area. You will find the team at @the meeting place already wearing their purple shirts on Fridays. 💜
You might also notice a few people wearing “PROJECT ACCESS” shirts. The colour run event launched this new club project based around domestic and family violence which is now well under way so make sure you follow us and we will be making some announcements soon. EXCITING STUFF!
